Now I've been sanding this ring for a while. Of course I admit it was mostly my fault that I messed it up in the first place, but it's still annoying when I don't have all the equipment I'd have liked. I do find a bit of peace, I suppose, in working with this ring with my own two hands, a file, and of course, emery boards.
I have also learned the joy that is known as actual jewelry tools. If it was possible I'd be using the jewelry studio every single day. Also since they have lots of equipment I'd just die to be able to use properly. But I'm sure this ring will come out beautifully, even if it's frustrating me to no end.
Also I am thankful I've been able to go around and see which stores I can go to for basic supplies, I do think I'll be raiding a hardware store in time, as I've found that I much prefer tools that aren't quite as specialized as the ones I use now. I mean, if I won the lottery, I'd build my own jewelry studio, as well as all the supplies I'd ever need in my entire lifetime.
Also I've been thinking of an apprenticeship, there's programs all over, but actually learning from someone in my area is more appealing then anything else. Of course, there's the matter of actually finding a mentor in the area I live in, which is kind of lame.
Ah well, life continues as always.

As it stands:
I've been away from home, quite often, actually. It looks like I may be in a brace, as my shoulder is refusing to cooperate, that or I'm just a silly and aren't doing the exersizes right. Either way, no fun, it seems. Also, haven't heard from the latest job interview place, which is super lame. :c
But it looks like I have a customer looking at getting a couple custom pairs of earrings. I think I'll have some fun with that! I've also been working with sculpey, and am still working on charms and such... I think I'm going to make a few new items. (Tadpole!)
As for everything else, it's been going well. The deck has drying oil(?) on it, so I can't smoke out there, trying to think of where I'll go... Hm.

Well, THAT'S lame.
I didn’t realize that the ache in my shoulder was that bad, for a time I thought I imagined it, because I’m that sort of person. But my doctor checked out the muscle, and now I have a couple sessions of physical therapy, and the crappy part? I won’t be able to make jewelry as I usually do, which is a serious bummer.
So, my mother came down with a weird box, and it’s sculpey! So I’m able to work on little charms and pendants without stressing my shoulder, too bad. Right now I’m working on little cupcake charms. I have to say, they are pretty darn cute. Then I’ve got to figure out what else I want to make with this.
A little positive news, and a bit of not so positive news. It’s a bummer, but I’m really glad my friend had me check out my shoulder. I’m taking anti inflammatory medication, keep it from hurting too bad, at least. I ice is every night, when the pain gets real bad.
So, anyways! I’ll be updating the blog with the cupcake charms once I get going on them. And I’m going to try and make other cute charms for necklaces, and earrings. (Maybe bracelets). Sculpey is super fun to play around with, I’m having a lot of fun with it.
Anyways, now a question for you! What do you think I should try and make out of this stuff? Cakes? Pies? Fruit? Just let me know, I need ideas.

New summer items in stock!
Well, good news! Finally added my summer items to my stock. I'll be adding more as time goes by, and more pictures shall be added as soon as I get my model to come for a shoot.
The favorites I have of this collection are: The seahorse charm bracelet and earring set, Blue Koi Charm Bracelet, and the Mix and Match Earrings which include three different summer critter charms!
So, overall today was a good day.

First post.
So, I've been told that people with blogs sell better then people without. Also I figure, I need a place to update with my projects! So, it's a win-win situation, I'd have to say.
This is my first blog. I'm not sure what to blog about, but I know I won't get too crazy about it, or, at least I hope not. But anyways, the current project I'm working on is my summer collections. Beach and summer themed bracelets, and earrings, or a mix and match trio of earrings, and then of course, the earring and bracelet sets.
Other news, I just made my second sale today, I'm pretty happy about that. Though, I needed to update the shipping information on my products, as I know, now that I have padded envelopes it'll cost quite a bit more then before, plus for this, is the items remain safe. So the cost will be a bit higher now.
